If you’re looking for gifts for farmers in your life you’ve come to the right place. Christmas, Father’s Day, birthday… whatever the occasion these gifts are sure to make your farmer smile!
I don’t know about you, but I struggle to know what gifts to buy my farmer. If it’s not a new farm, tractor or semi he says he doesn’t need a gift. So I’ve gone on a hunt for all of the best gifts for farmers. I’ve included practical ideas from all prices ranges to hopefully help you solve what gift to buy your farmer. I’ll be rounding up all of my best clothing recommendations in a future post as well so keep an eye out for that.
A couple of things to keep in mind as you browse this list. I’ve not specified tool brands here as each farm and each farmer likely have their favorite brand. I would take a peek into the shop or the tool boxes and see what they most commonly use. This is especially true for power tools that require compatible batteries, chargers, accessories, etc.
Consumable gifts for farmers
- Tractor or shop snacks
- A new double insulated mug or cup – I know not actually consumable, but these just keep disappearing into the bermuda triangle that is the farm truck and shop. I like these Rtic mugs for a durable, inexpensive option.
- A new heavy duty cooler – Again bermuda triangle. Again Rtic has good products for reasonable prices.
- Detailing for his truck
Experience gifts for farmers
- Massage or chiropractor sessions
- Tickets or trip to a tractor or farm show
Thoughtful gifts for farmers
- Flyover Whiskey – Send them a sample of your corn and they will make a you a custom batch of your own whiskey including your own custom label!
- Aerial photography of the farm – You can have new photos taken or you can find some vintage photos at Vintage Aerial.
- Have a logo designed for the farm – Check out Fiver or make your own on Canva for free if you don’t want to invest in a designer.
- Logo’d or branded gear – Think hats, wallets, license plates, sweatshirts. You probably have a local shop that can print these for you and this would make a great promotional gift to customers or employees.
- Farm Calendar – Take photos of the farm during each month and make into a calendar on Shutterfly.
Practical gifts for farmers
- A drone – He can check crops, cattle, fence etc super easily. You could spend a literal fortune on these, but there are more affordable options on Amazon.
- LED Headlamp – These are great for working on equipment or night chores. I bought this hands free neck light for my husband at Christmas.
- Ball cap organizer – no explanation needed.
- Self emptying rain gauge – We don’t have a rain gauge near our house, but I think we might need one.
- Weather station – Get as fancy as you want with this one. These would be great for hay season!
- Heated vest, sweatshirt, gloves – I bought one of these vests for my father in law and he loved it.
- Security cameras – Again you can spend thousands on these, but start with one camera and a system that can be added to. There are lots of options for these, but most do require wi-fi.
- Industrial fan for shop – this would make a great group gift if you farm with other families.
- Weather mats and seat covers – These are great for the farm vehicles and even tractors. I recommend the ones that are specific to your model for a better fit.
Tool gifts for farmers
- Battery operated grease gun – If your farmer bales hay or straw or stalks … he needs one of these!
- Cord wraps – These are great for organizing hoses, cords, and rope. They come in a bunch of sizes and are super heavy duty. Plus the durable eyelet make them easy to hang up.
- Battery powered impact wrench – Make sure the brand matches what he already has
- 10 mm socket – don’t ask me why, but apparently this one is always missing? Amazon even sells them in a ten pack.
I hope this list gave you some ideas for a gift for your farmer. I’ll continue to add to the list as I find more farmer approved ideas. What gifts have been a big hit for the farm guy in your life, leave me a comment so I can share! If you enjoyed this check out some of my other farm wife content.
