Easy Homestyle Oven Meatballs

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cups of bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic salt optional
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped bell peppers optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line a tall sided cookie sheet or jelly roll pan with foil.
  • Add ground meat, eggs, breadcrumbs, cheese, milk, seasonings and chopped veggies to a large bowl.
  • Mix well with your hands until distributed evenly and well moistened.
  • Add additional milk 1 Tbsp at a time if needed until the mixture holds together well.
  • Form into 1 tsp or 1 Tbsp sized balls and place on a foil lined baking sheet or cast iron skillet.
  • Bake at 350° for 10-20 minutes
  • Allow to cool, then place in freezer bags for storage up to 3 months.
